New aqua natal classes started Monday June 2nd - 6.30-7.30pm. 4 week sessions cost only £40.
Hydrotherapy is exercise or physiotherapy treatment in a warm-water pool. The water temperature is usually 34 - 37ºC, which is warmer than normal swimming pools.
The warm temperature of the water allows your muscles to relax and eases pain in your joints that may occur as a result of pregnancy. Call first to book.

Pushchair Walks
www.pushchairwalks.co.ukTwin Cottage
www.twincottage.com Burley, Hampshire 07884 390343Truly beautiful semi-detached cottage, in a quiet lane, in the heart of the New Forest. Sleeps 4 (plus cot).
The owner, Amanda, has excelled herself in making twin cottage not only child friendly but wonderfully luxurious. Recently refurbished, the cottage retains many of its original features with beautiful additions; there are slate and stripped solid oak floors, a wood burning stove, open fire, antique bed, and a large bathroom with freestanding bath (towels and bathrobes are included). For the children, there is a playroom complete with colouring equipment, play doh, toddler table and chairs, doll’s pushchair & cot and a play tent. DVD’s, books, bath toys and games are also provided, and there is a large garden to the rear of the property. You will also find a highchair, stair gates, bedguard, children’s crockery and cutlery, monitor, nightlight, room thermometer, sterliser, step stool, and babysitting can be organised on request. Amanda also makes sure that your arrival feels homely and as stress-free as possible, by providing a large welcome hamper and all the basic necessities (toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc.) that you could need.
The Black House

Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth, Dorset
07855 483555
This smuggler’s cottage, dating back some 200 years, sits right at the end of the Mudeford Spit in Bournemouth. The fabulous location means that you are literally surrounded by water; the harbour to one side, and the sea to the other. 4 apartments, each sleeping between 4 and 8.
We cannot recommend these apartments enough for families. They are basic, true, but perfectly equipped and easy to clean. Mudeford spit is car-free and so your journey to the cottage is magical for young children, whether you choose to arrive by the ‘noddy’ (land) train or by the short ferry ride from Mudeford Quay. A rowing boat is included in the price and so the more adventurous family can take this into the shallow water of Christchurch Harbour. Bikes are recommended as there are some lovely rides through the trees over the National Trust protected Hengistbury Head. There is a barbeque provided, plastic ‘crockery’ and cutlery, a high chair, and travel cot.
Warning: (and unfortunately, there is sometimes a ‘but’ with properties of such ilk) - the cottage is surrounded by water, a small part of which has a dangerous current. Children need to be supervised at all times!
Spain - La Fabrica de Bombas

Jimena de la Frontera, Spain

A truly family friendly villa (and separate apartment) in one of Andalucia’s pretty white villages. Sleeps up to 8 (4 bedrooms). Private pool.
La Fabrica de Bombas is one of those rare finds; a truly family friendly property. The owners, Amanda and Matthew, have three children of their own, and so they have been able to kiddie proof the property with the assurance of experience. The actual villa is set on one floor, with a double bedroom (with ensuite) and a twin. There is a courtyard to the back (lockable door) with steps to the pool gate (this is locked and the key is secured out of reach of little fingers). To the front is an area ideally suited for play with an arbour for parents to relax as they watch. But what really makes La Fabrica de Bombas such a great place to stay with small children, is its location (a stone’s throw from the wonderful Hozgarganta river and splendid walks) and the fabulous attitude of the owners, who live next door.

Finding the right childcare for your pre-school child can be a difficult task, requiring a careful review of your financial resources, child’s personality, and family needs. Pre-schools too can vary considerably in their approaches, the time they take your child for, and the age. By the time your child reaches school age, there is also the job of thinking about those times when you are not able to care for them during term time, or when you need some extra advice and support for their education. These chapters are all designed to help with these aspects.
Childcare 0-4 years - from nannies to nursery, childminders to aupairs, the choice is vast.
Out of School Care - for after school and holiday times.
Pre-schools - find out about the vast choice in Bristol.
Schools & Educational Support - find out more here.
