Displaying the largest collection of Naval aircraft in Europe, this museum will appeal to children of 6+yrs along with aircraft enthusiast toddlers. Follow the development of British aircraft from wooden bi-planes through to Concorde. You can sit in the cockpit of a jet fighter, or even experience life aboard an aircraft carrier, arriving on the flight deck via a simulated helicopter ride. Being next to the air base, there's a good chance of seeing Sea Harriers and helicopters going through their manoeuvres outside. There is also a children's adventure playground, restaurant and shop.
