Tor is open 365 days/year. FREE. 
Access: 15 minute walk from village to bottom of Tor. Tour bus available every half hour from the carpark by the Abbey. You can just hop off at the Tor.
This steep hill is a striking feature of the local landscape offering stunning views over Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Renovated in 2003, the 15th century tower on top of the Tor is all that remains of a medieval church. Up there you get a sense of why this place is a focus for legend and superstition. The Tor is 158m high and a steep climb, but well worth the effort. Completely unsuitable for pushchairs but determined toddlers will make it to the top
