From Clifton take A369 towards Portishead, after the traffic lights there is a large old archway on the right, take right turn almost immediately after this, car park 1/2 m on the left. The 'Purple Trail' which begins and ends at the car park is a fully accessible 21/2 km circular route, hard-surfaced, mostly level and suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There are also other hard-surfaced paths leading from the 'Purple Trail', which are marked on the board in the car park and on a free leaflet available from the Reserve Office on Valley Road. However, not all are waymarked on the ground like the Purple Trail.
